✨ Behind the Pages ✨
A special look into the worlds I’ve been building, the stories yet to come, and the chaos in between.
✨ What I’m Currently Working On ✨
Wanna know what’s been keeping me busy behind the scenes? Between world-building, character arcs, and story threads that have been simmering for years, I’ve got two major projects taking shape right now — and each one is a deep dive into the universes you’ve been following.
📚 Two Worlds, One Universe – The Artificial Trilogy Continues
Over the past few years, the Artificial Trilogy has grown from a single story into a sprawling universe, full of characters, conflicts, and secrets that quietly set the stage for something massive. Now, I’m ready to pull back the curtain on the final act.
Ascension’s Integrations – Book Three of the Artificial Trilogy
The climax is on the horizon. For two books, I’ve been layering characters, motives, and subtle plot threads, building tension that will finally erupt. While I can’t give away too much (spoilers are a crime in my book), the storm that’s coming will shift the entire galaxy of this story. It’s the culmination of everything that’s come before — and it’s going to be intense.
🕰 The Missing Years – Filling in the Gap
Every epic has its untold moments — those silent stretches of time that shape what’s to come. Virtual Requiem contained one such gap: a ten-year jump halfway through the story. What really happened during that decade?
10 Years – A new companion novel in the Virtual Requiem saga
This book answers that question. The Master System recorded it all — not to intervene, but to document the players’ evolution. From quiet survival to moments of triumph, heartbreak, and growth, 10 Years fills in the missing chapter of their journey. It’s a look behind the curtain at the experiences that prepared them for what comes next — a bridge between past struggles and future challenges.
📝 How the Artificial Trilogy Came to Be
The Artificial Trilogy didn’t start as a trilogy — or even a traditional book series. Originally, it was going to be a Kindle Vella, with new chapters released weekly. At the time, readers wanted a continuing story, and I was ready to deliver… but weekly posts with little opportunity for editing or refinement didn’t feel right.
Instead, I decided to turn it into a full-length book — one that could fully explore the characters, the world, and the story’s intricacies. That first book soon became two, and eventually, I realized the story deserved a trilogy: three carefully crafted volumes, each building on the last, leading to a satisfying conclusion that does justice to the world and the characters.
It’s a story about adaptation, patience, and commitment to quality — and it’s one I’m proud to share with readers who have followed me from the very beginning.
🎤 On the Record – The Kristy Lee Interview
Earlier this month, I had the honor of being interviewed by the talented Kristy Lee — Twitch streamer and author of Heiress of Sole and Delivered with Love.
For over an hour, we explored the beating heart behind my work:
✨ Why I Write – The personal drive that keeps me creating, even when the world seems louder than the words.
📚 Bringing Stories to Life – My process for building worlds and characters that live beyond the page.
🛠 Passion in Practice – How I balance the spark of inspiration with the discipline it takes to finish a project.
💡 Behind the Scenes – Insights into Ascension’s Integrations, 10 Years, and other works currently brewing in my creative lab.
Kristy’s questions brought out stories, motivations, and philosophies I rarely get to share. This wasn’t just a Q&A — it was a celebration of the passion, dedication, and vision that fuel my writing journey.

📰 Breaking Into Local News – Or Trying To
With the recent releases of The Advanced Guide to Self-Destruction and The Concept Codex, I thought I had my ticket into local news coverage. I wasn’t just pitching “another book release” — I was bringing the kind of creative grit our region rarely gets to show off.
The reception so far? Quiet. Too quiet.
But I’m not backing down.
I’m from Morgantown, West Virginia, the hometown of Don Knotts — a man who fought his way from small-town roots into the cutthroat world of Hollywood and made a lasting mark. That’s the energy I’m bringing now: proving that West Virginia still produces working creatives who can stand toe-to-toe in a dog-eat-dog industry.
The local arts scene needs that kind of representation — and I plan to keep pushing until our voices are heard.
🎢 Two Years in the Making – The Creative Rollercoaster
When I stop to look back, the numbers stagger me:
5 new books
2 feature-length screenplays
1 pilot
2 invitations to Cannes
1 invitation to the London Arts
2 professional interviews
Several short stories & awards
It’s been a ride — dizzying, unpredictable, but unforgettable. And none of it would have happened without those of you who’ve been along for the journey.
🌟 Final Word
Being disabled hasn’t slowed me down — it’s sharpened my resolve and fueled my creativity. I’ve done the kind of work many only dream about: publishing books, telling stories on my own terms, and building projects that make waves far beyond my zip code.
I’m not here for sympathy. I’m here because I’ve earned my place in the conversation — and yet, too often, that conversation is happening without me. That won’t stop me from showing up, speaking out, and creating work worth noticing.
The road isn’t easy, and it’s not lined with guarantees, but every step has been worth it. The next chapter is already in motion — and I intend to make it louder.
